My Special Trip

St. Pete's Beach, Florida

Well, we had to take two planes to Tampa, Florida and it took almost three hours. We got three free drinks---I got pop. Taking off is very fast and landing the plane kept on turning and going to the side as we went down.

I took the trip with Brad and my mom, Sandy. It was a family vacation with Vince, Marcus, Tammy, Uncle Nolan, Alea, her mom, and Jeremy. They all live in Ohio. Uncle Nolan and Aunt Tammy invited us down.

We rented a car and went right to the hotel. There were two pools, and one was right across from our hotel room. We could actually walk to I-HOP for pancakes. We went on boat rides in the ocean.

There was one special boat ride we took, a cruise, and we got to see dolphins jump up in the waves. One baby dolphin jumped up with her mom.  

Me and Uncle Nolan were partners in a shuffle board competition, I can't remember who who won but me and Uncle Nolan lost.

Marcus is very tiny because he was a newborn. Vince liked going out to the sandbar and jumping in the waves.

I preferred the beach to the pool mostly. We could find shells at the beach, make sand castles and jump in the waves. Me and Alea didn't make a sandcastle but we got buried in the sand in the shape of a mermaid. My Mom and Brad buried us.

And that was our only trip last summer.
