Is Everything Backwards? Part IIBy beanerywriters(11,675) Below is the second half of an acrostic poem written in reverse---that is, from Z to A---by special guest site visitor Rustie, a blind man who “writes” poetry on a tape recorder. The two parts of this acrostice are posted in the BeaneryWriters Group category BW Visitor Writings. M is for millions of young people like you. Who really aren’t sure what they want to do. L is for love, a commodity missing’ It goes deeper than petting, hugging and kissing. K is for knowledge, obtain it indeed; You’ll need a diploma, if you’re going to succeed. J is for journey, traveling through life; Youth is a small part, regardless of the strife. I is for indignant, don’t look at life that way; Smile at others, it will improve your day. H is for hope, each one of us possess it; Some more than others, it won’t hurt to confess it. G is for God, hold Him in first place; Keep you hand in His, and you will win the race. F is for faults, and that, not a few; But don’t feel ashamed, adults have them too! E is education , not all learned from pages; But gotten through life, in various stages. D is for doubts, each one of us have had; But you’re not alone friend, although you are sad. C is for character, the building block of life; You can rise above it, your sorrow and strife. B is buffoon, the proverbial clown; You try to act silly when you’re feeling down. A is for author, a writer indeed; You’ve written our story, now we see your need. The story doesn’t stop here, this isn’t the end; It’s just the beginning, let’s help them, my friend. This Blog Post has been read 2 times.
