Skydiving!By TheOptimist(4,416) Yesterday I did something that I have been meaning to do for some time... I went skydiving! It was a great experience, and I would recommend it if you haven't been. I went tandem (your first two jumps are tandem here), and it was a blast. Not only did I get an adrenaline rush, but the experience also taught me a great deal. I had to trust that the person I was with would take the proper action, and I literally had to hand over control of my life to another person and know that they would do the right things. I sometimes have trouble giving control to another person in my life and business, however sometimes others are more capable than me in certain things, and that is ok. Even timewise I cant do everything, and I need to learn to rely on the talents of others and trust more often. I also proved something to myself by skydiving- That I can accomplish goals and overcome fears. We all have fears of failing or trying something that is new and different for us. It is not always easy to take a risk, no matter how calculated, if we let these fears hold us back we may never accomplish the things that we want to in life. There is not always going to be a tomorrow so take action today! I would like to thank the good people at Skydive Utah for giving me a chance to go dive.
