Under the Big Top
By beanerywriters(11,675)
In the middle of a carnival of emotions Where colors swirl in noise and sound, I lay buried deep in this great sea, crying In my sleep, dreaming in the dark, wondering If God cares anymore. All the words are said under a big sky, Saying much, but going no where until He tries To throw His arms around us in heavenly Effort to make things right, while too many Questions play their sound; trying to love Him Yet not knowing how. Trying to love Him in This carnival of emotions tonight, with too questions buried in this sea tonight. Though stars once shinned in my eyes, now a Dim candle flicker is stored in my heart for Tear drops on a sad clown’s face that fall to The ground in silent disgrace, crushed from The crowd at the carnival tonight, while He Looks down to where the sand holds all the Tear drops trampled by this crowd.
