Kaleidoscope of Voices are Gifts to Individuals

By elweenallarts(252)

We often imitate someone we adore, don’t we? And everywhere we go or anything we do, there is a “targeted personality” shadowing the real you. It applies in singing too. We tend to follow stars of our favours and yearn to own their image in life. People sees different side of you indeed, but they will think that you are acting weird too. after a long period of time, you yourself will feel tired and even giddy, thinking that you have split personality!

Most importantly, to be a performer, you need to build up you own personality and don’t ever follow people’s footsteps. Everyone has different gifts, your voices are unique and no one can snatch it away from you. Instead of grumbling over your crockery voice (for example), why don’t you learn to accept the truth and use your voice in a special way? We don’t want to see so many Michael Jackson doing moon-walk because we might die of boredom! Over and over again.

Styles and fashions resemble history. It is a circle that orbits in a constant motion from its central. In the end, it will move 360 degree and reach its origin. In singing, maybe hip-hop is currently the main stream in music industry but who dares to say out that this art will last eternally? Besides, people change as time flies. There is no warranty that prove human being will remain as youthful as you wish. When you are a teenager, maybe you love hip-hop or rock music, then as you enter the era of adult youth, you might enjoy black metal or some other “off-track” influential categories. As you reach adulthood, you interest in legato and mild love songs. See, we change. Even we do not admit ourselves, time will prove to us that we can’t remain the same old self year after year.

So, create your own label in singing. You should set a goal that you will win popularity among people and be like a celebrity of your own. You can be like Clay Aiken, Will Young or even Andrea Bocelli but you can never be them. Be __(Your Name)___. :)
