Building For THe War With IranBy DrAbuelo(2,706) The White House Looks To Expand It War In The Middle EastWith criticisms of the Iraq governments executions of Saddam Hussiens half brother and an ex judge who had his ripped off because the rope was too long, what has not gotten lost is the next stage of the White House's expansion of war in the middle East. Already we are hearing about the precursor that will lead to the next war that the Bush administration is gearing up for. Iran is now being fattened up for the next slaughter which will lead to the next major humanitarian and judical crisis. The difference here is that, unlike Iraq before March of 2003, Iran is not an Isolated country and any invasion will have serious repercussions both for Americans over seas and for US hear at home. And that could very well lead to a sudden drop in the conformable relationship that we currently have with China. Forget about the 21,500 troops serving a vital role in iraq. It has been well established that the crisis in Iraq is a lost cause. The civil war at this time has gone well beyond the point of being fixed by any outsiders and the includes the UN. At this point our military is nothing more than another militia in the country. It is not very likely that 20,000 going to change that situation nor will the several thousands patriot missiles being sent with them. To get an idea of what such a force will be used for, you can try the link http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,,1991172,00.htmlhttp://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,,1991172,00.html which spells out exactly what the primary plans really are. New secertary of Defense, Robert Gates has already gone on record that the US is not leaving the Middle East anytime soon and the build up is more of an attempt to maintain superiority over Iran in an effort to force Iraq's Northern to bend to the US's will like so many other countries but, this could very well back fire. Remember, Iran is the second largest provider of oil to China, the fastest growing economy in the World. Perhaps of all the countries that can keep the US at bay, China is clearly the one threat the White House fears as a threat to the Neo Cons plans for the dominance in the current stage of oil wars between the worlds two giants. By controlling the tap in Iran, Washington would greatly reduce China's negotiating power while maintaining a major upper hand. But, unlike Iraq in 2003, Iran has a far more advanced military and are equally as nationalist as the Iraqis. Any such invasion of the country would be a complete disaster on both sides. China would be forced to take sides, they know where their oil interest lies and one must wonder how far they will go to protect their own interests. Along with the potential battle with China, our own judical system would fall into an absolute crisis. Already, the White House has shown they will push own despite rulings from congress. But such an invasion would put the Senate, and this Includes Republicans, and the House would be pushed into the corner of impeach or not to impeach. If they choose not to, they will send perhaps this countries most dangerous standard of what a president can and not do when it comes to international affairs. In fact, what would be at stake would be the relevance of Congress as a whole and the Democrats have yet to step up to the plate in any meaningful way.
