UPDATE ON BOB MENDLER, HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR

Today’s post is a little different than our usual writings.
Bob Mendler, the Holocaust survivor whose story is being told in segments and filed in the category HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR is very discouraged.
He had knee surgery in January, and is still experiencing a lot of pain.
“I’m so miserable, so unhappy,” he said. “I just don’t want to do anything. I have so many appointments. I don’t know how I will carry on. The pain never goes away.”
He said the pain goes to his hips and back and a result is that he’s not able to sleep or sit at his computer.
I cannot imagine what it’s like to have experienced what he did during his teenage years, then have to experience the pain again as age and the effects of the Holocaust set in.
