What is going on?!?!?!?

How is it possible that almost 1 year after Katrina we have rubble all over the streets still in the gulf, however we can give Lebbeon (sp) 230 million dollars??? That isn't even our war/fight. Cant we make it a priority to take care of our own 1st. Then others. Good god, i really do not understand. There is so much going on in our own country that needs some addressing. Crime is up everywhere, education is in a shamble, the gulf coast, illegals, homeland security. I really could go on, however for PR reasons we will give another country 230 million dollars. i am so damn confused on our list of priorities. Is anyone else???
