New Type of Mud Puddle

This new puddle is very, very round and about three feet accross. It seems to have mysteriously risen about ground level and has the most remarkable color of bright blue.

When first discovered I approched with caution... circling it for several moments to be sure it wasn't alive. When it failed to move I shouted at the top of my lungs just to be sure it wasn't lying in wait.

Finally, I approached and stared down into the abyss... looked like clean water, several inches to be sure! I climbed in and sure enough the water came up to my tummy!

I have since found that I can splash and roll around in this new type of mud puddle and not get into trouble with my mom and dad. The puddle always stays clean and just the right level for me to wade in. I hope the puddle stays around for the rest of the summer!
