What's All This AboutBy whitebill84(2) Although criticism of ideas is an important part of intellectual growth, I envision a blog that uses dialogical processes for moving the conversation forward. Reasoned comments and arguments along with a healthy dose of respect for all is more productive than polemics that threaten to rip apart our educational community. With this in mind, any comments, papers, or ideas that one wishes to post are readily welcomed. Although I am staunchly Libertarian, I understand that I do not have a monopoly on good ideas. What I seek is simply a critical analysis of how we, in the field of education and curriculum, can move beyond our current morass and reinvigorate the field while also reclaiming our rightful place in curriculum discussions (thereby removing the hegemonic structure that has controlled the debate for far too long). Eventually, as I get both time and more familiarity with blogging, I will add some papers and projects, in various stages of completion, to this site. Please feel free to comment on them. And, if you have any papers or projects that you would like to contribute, including but not limited to original research, book reviews, and statistics gathers during research, please email them to me and I will post them as received. I do, however, reserve the right to remove profanity or other similarly offensive language. This Blog Post has been read 1 times.
