Today the Beanery Online Literary Magazine demonstrated its ability to be Number One. We surpassed 2000 hits since May 20, when we started at "ground zero" after our host site , in correcting a technical problem, had to set everyone's counter back to zero. However, our "true" reading is 38,360. Our site began at the end of August 2006. At the time of the set-back we'd reached 32,500 hits, over 15,000 ahead of our closest competitor. Now our closet competitor is www.ProBlogs.com/CarolynCHolland. This site is an archives file for Carolyn's Writing's, moved off the Beanery Online Literary Magazine for space reasons. It has accumulated 858 hits since the counter was set back to zero. Thus, by adding tpgether our "lost" hits, our current hits and hits on CarolynCHolland, we discover our "true" number of hits since our inception. Both ProBlogs sites, the beanerywriters (the Beanery Online Literary Magazine) and CarolynCHolland, have subject indexes to help you locate your favorite article or subject. Beanery Writers Group members who post are listed in teh category section on the right side of the site. The site that is in third place, www.ProBlogs.com/lmborolmpark is a newsletter for my home community. A neighbor and I are site managers. It has accumulated 663 hits since May 20. The fourth place ProBlogs site has accumulated 574 hits. Thus, www.ProBlogs.com/beanerywriters has a solid lead.
