Linda V's Bio
By beanerywriters(11,675)
Veronique Vienne appropriately quotes, “Every new beginning is a merging of holding on and letting go.” Twenty-five years ago, and after the first twenty-five years of living, a new way of life emerged. Today I find myself reinventing my life again, learning about my natural rhythms and inclinations. Part of that new was discovering a flier for The Beanery Writing group, which meets in Latrobe, Pa., where I live. This event is quite synchronistical as I am embarking on the process of honing and publishing my skills. I’ve been a “semi-hermit” and a “semi-monk,” and sometimes I’m a gypsy by day and a pirate by night. Seriously ~ I’m degreed in the education field, technically skilled and a seasoned overseas traveler, with both personal and published writings. I teach an eclectic T’ai Chi, energy, balance, movement program along with private therapeutic lessons, and I create imaginative cards and do silk dying. I’d like to offer my ideas and concepts as resources for compensation. My time is carved, allowing for avenues to expand and to invent a livelihood while having fun. My personal time includes reading, writing, walking, watching foreign films, and learning ‘The Art of Enjoying Time’ from my cat, Lillian. ---posted June 15, 2007 Read the bios of other Beanery Writers Group in the Beanery Online Magazine category BW Bios.
