Stepping Out of my Comfort ZoneBy Female Blogic(334) Posted Saturday, September 15, 2007 View All Blog Posts submitted by Female Blogic It seems as if everyone around me has a blog and always has something to talk about. I usually don't talk a lot unless I feel strongly about something or am in a one-on-one conversation. My husband and I brainstormed to come up with a pen name that I could live with, that hopefully doesn't sound too cheesy and will not become too outdated as techno-speak evolves. I don't consider myself a great writer, though, I do love to read and have a thing about correct spelling.
With all that said, I am taking a giant step out of my comfort zone. Maybe those who read this and have taken this step will have some advice for me. Maybe you are one who has joined the blogging ranks and has not known where to start. I've heard this can be a lot like keeping a journal. The jury is still out on that because my journal is much more private. Maybe the reason this is a big step is that writing a blog makes one feel rather vulnerable and exposed. Or maybe I am paranoid. Either way, I've jumped in with both hands on the keyboard and we will see where it leads.
