Princess Diana Inquest - and the FANS that killed her

This is one of a few conspiracies circulating about why the Princess may have been killed deliberately rather than dying in a terrible accident. One is related to her high profile image and work regarding the removal of land mines. It was apparently a political hot potato.

Presently though, I am of the opinion that she died in an unplanned car crash after being pursued by the paparazzi, so it will be very interesting to see what the inquest throws up.

Most people in the UK can remember what they were doing when the News was announced that Princess Diana had died. I too remember. The outpouring of grief was immense.

I recall being very annoyed by the massive amount of hypocrisy showed by the fans when turned on the media and blamed them for her death. They never stopped buying the papers though did they. They carried buying everything they could that was printed about her just as they did before she died. It was the public’s obsession with Princess Diana and not the media’s that led to her being pursued by paparazzi wherever she went.

I myself elected not to buy any papers after her death that were hyping up the incident and again making mega bucks at her expense. But I was one of few, as usual most of her fans complained yet carried on buying the papers.

The media prints what the people want to read. They cater to our demand. If a paper fails to sell with a certain high profile figure on the front cover, they learn a quick lesson and that high profile figure is quickly demoted. It is not the media who makes ands breaks people it is us, the consumer who vote with our wallet who to read about and who not to.

The sooner the rest of world realise that this is how the media works then perhaps we can work together to give those high profile figures a break from the media spot light.
