How to Talk to Girls

Personally I prefer a more casual natural line of dialogue.

Here are some tips on how you can chat up women and be a tad more successful.

If the female of your desire is with a group of friends:

First you may like to try to catch her eye and gauge interest before steaming in and taking over the conversation. If you are looking over at her it is likely she or one of her friends will notice you. When she does look in your direction, raise your glass and smile as if to say Hi. If she smiles back and holds your gaze for a while, that may at least mean she is not uncomfortable with your attention at that point.

If however she gives you a filthy look or seems uncomfortable and immediately returns her gaze to her pals, turning her back towards you, this is a less positive sign.

Meanwhile, assuming her reaction is positive, wait until it looks like there is a lull in the conversation with her pals, or till she is heading towards the bar for a drink and casually walk over.

If you approach her while she is in her group, acknowledge all of her friends do not just zoom in on her. Say hi, and perhaps ask if they are enjoying their evening and if the response is warm, introduce yourself and don’t be afraid to ask that old corny line’ do you come here often?’ You could even make a joke of it, to break the ice.

Another approach is to go over and advise the ladies you are looking for a good club/bar or restaurant etc to go to and wondered if they could recommend one in the area. If they

say they are not from that area that is an opportunity to ask them where they are from and if they are from that area you can get into a chat about the various ‘hot spots’ that they visit etc.

Very importantly don’t be ‘creepy’ and do take ‘no’ as an answer. If the women are not keen on your intrusion, chalk it all up to experience, wish them a good night and save your energy for the next nice female you encounter.
