Why Comprehensive Immigration is vital to big business and will be passed?By Robert Melaccio, sr(28,936) ![]() ![]() Posted Sunday, January 13, 2008 View All Blog Posts submitted by Robert Melaccio, sr The need to establish a Security and Prosperity Partnership, [SPP] which by all intents and purposes in my opinion exists already outside of a signed and ratified treaty format is essential to the creation of this new free market undertaking uniting Mexico, Canad and the United States into essentially a free market zone. It is the highest priority of our current President, it comes out of the G8 and many of the Top Senators and Representatives are in full support of it. Do YOU KNOW WHO THEY ARE?
Certainly the creation of a highway which goes from South America to the Northern most points in Canada might make a person ask the question and wonder why we have not moved to secure our borders and why are we so slow in doing such. Rhetorically might this be the answer? Now you have heard it from the lips of these Presidential candidates the words like, Global, Free Markets, bring Democracy, expanding opportunities for all and of course that most important aspect "Comprehensive Immigration Reform", which is necessary and vital to, and get this, "secure our borders". Just what do you think that all echoes? So just what is this Security and Prosperity Partnership? In my opinion it is "The Common Market" transplanted to this continent. Here is an extract from their home page which is readily available to all. The Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) 4/2005 is a trilateral effort to increase security and enhance prosperity among the United States, Canada and Mexico through greater cooperation and information sharing. This trilateral initiative is premised on our security and our economic prosperity being mutually reinforcing. The SPP recognizes that our three great nations are bound by a shared belief in freedom, economic opportunity, and strong democratic institutions. The SPP provides the framework to ensure that North America is the safest and best place to live and do business. It includes ambitious security and prosperity programs to keep our borders closed to terrorism yet open to trade. The SPP builds upon, but is separate from, our long-standing trade and economic relationships. It energizes other aspects of our cooperative relations, such as the protection of our environment, our food supply, and our public health. Ok my fellow Americans, let me ask those who are streaming to the polls like in Iowa or New Hampshire for change, just why do they really think anything will change? Let me ask you this about Terror, do you feel safer? Are you financially and economically better today with manufacturing, jobs and wealth going to Mexico and Canada. Have you read the labels, picked up the phone lately? ? Just how are they going to secure "Open Borders" with people passing back and forth freely all day long?We have almost 12 to 15 million walking around our streets freely. Is our food supply safer? Certainly is our environment better? Now I am not talking to the haves and big business who in my opinion this program is designed for.
Well, as I stated, the actual facts are that 20% of Americans are doing well. Those below them that are holding their own making $70,000 or more a year but sliding and starting to gripe. Of course you then have those between $40,000 to $69,000 who are starting to slide downhill as well and rapidly I might add. So now that you know what SPP stands for and what NAFTA [North American Free Trade Agreement] which was "supposed to bring prosperity to "all", I will say this again "all" Americans, I ask you, has it?
So, please take a real look at "our Representatives" records and deeds and their ideology and tell me why do you want them to remain in office?
