As we are updated daily on the details of the inquest into Princess Diana's death, the latest update
here , am I the only one wondering how all these questions and testimonials are at all relevant in establishing whether she was murdered in an elaborate Royal plot or if indeed she died as stated at the time in an unfortunate (but not suspicious) car crash.

 

How do Princess Diana's thoughts that she may be killed 'prove' she was killed? It doesn't prove anything. How does her like or love for Dido prove or disprove whether she was killed? These things may establish motive etc but either way they are still only circumstantial and would never be sufficient to bring a case against anyone.

 

The only reason I can see for all the interviews and questions is to find out salacious and intimate details of the Princesses life for no other reason than to satisfy the questioners and courts morbid curiosity.

 

Paul Burrel - Butler, can't prove she was or was not killed. Why is he at the inquest? Why are any of those called to give 'evidence' there when they were not any part of the crash incident and cannot offer anything by way of 'proof'.

 

The only thing that can be proved with all this, is that even after all this time, no lessons have been learned and still the public want their pound of Diana's flesh.
