Lets examine this current economic and political mess in light of the coming November ElectionBy Robert Melaccio, sr(28,936) ![]() ![]() Posted Tuesday, January 15, 2008 View All Blog Posts submitted by Robert Melaccio, sr When we stop to examine the multiple problems Americans are distressed over one cannot help but ask how we can continue to believe that these same architects of our current crises can change things? Certainly we all know they profess to be capableof doing that, but frankly a person can profess anything and be the opposite. So how can we believe the ones who did it? Yes, they were the ones regardless of who they pass it onto. Does the pedofile change? Does a leopard change its spots?
Can we even believe any who are not curently in office and running who brag about having been involved in government for decades in varied capacities? What is there to brag about? Also, please understand I am not talking personally or individually other then their deeds as performed in their current or past position in government. Their ideology, beliefs, their agenda and their actions that support and will support that in the future. It is not what they profess you should fear it is what they don’t tell you. Read some of my other works and you will understand just what I am speaking to. In my opinion we are in effect reaping what they have sown. So while they all pat themselves on the back one only needs to examine their works and their deeds and ask why they really think they can change things? In my opinion I can only call it SIN. Why that? Well first because it is a sin what they have brought upon people of all walks of life. Hardships financially and in other ways. In the dictionary sin is defined as having serious shortcoming, intellectual imperfection or impairment, moral weakness or slight and insignificant defect in character, conduct or ability. Certainly when one reviews their deeds and what has fallen on this nation and its people there are few explanations other then this, incompetency or lack of knowledge and understanding that one might care to also use. Certainly there can be other considerations but I do not think they really apply. I would hope not. I for one feel this is an ideology issue created by powerful people who see an opportunity to expand and open new markets and create a new business order. They may call it the New World Order but it is all about money. After all our very own President very distinctly stated and I quote "Money always trumps peace". That was a very profound satement. So why would we expect peace in Iraq? Are there not billions to be made and just whom might we ask is involved and who is part of those organizations that can make these billions? If we continue that premise why would we be concerned about security at home? Why would we want to stifle SPP and NAFTA and close our borders and stop illegal workers and cheap labor form coming in? It just doesn’t make good money sense. Why would we not export our industry for cheaper labor? After all people are a companies biggest expense item. If we look at who these Senators and other Government and leaders belong to we see very definitively they all belong to the same groups, clubs, social order and economic class. Yes, birds of a feather. So the objective of those with wealth is to create more wealth. As for the rest of us, well you may not like it but you are an asset or a liability and nothing more then that on the ledger of life. They love to throw statistics around but are they the correct statistics. The fact is America is hurting in so many aspects from economy, to military, to the war and on and on and they have what I call the gall to say they can effect change. Has a lightbulb gone off or are they scared? Well sorry, their deeds and their records speak otherwise. Sadly, there will be those who vote for these types regardless because of race, religion, party affiliation, want, or just plain stupid. Theya re that 40% who always vote and who these politicans and the media play to. So I do not address them, because they are as much a fault for the problems of this nation as any politician and as are those who don't vote and allow them to remain in office. However, it really is time for the Americans who are like those who made this nation hundreds of years ago, to rise up on election day and send these power brokers a message they understand. They are already feeling it in their wallets and profit margins and in the wrath and anger of Americans everywhere. No, not from that 20% who have it all, or that 40% I just described that vote, but in all of us who do not vote because frankly we are literally sick of them. Now is the hour and moment to vote them out. You will never again in my opinion have this chance. Vote them all out of office, every single incumbent. A] It sends a warning message loud and clear we will be had no more. B] It shakes the foundations of power and sounds the alarm. C] It says to the new who get elected you better shape up for America or out you go! Tell your friends, your neighbors, your family that now is the time to rise up and let them know we will not be had any longer. Voice it, show it in signs, letters, emails, general conversations, yes, tell them to vote all of these incumbents out come election day. Now if they want our vote they can have it BUT give us CHANGE NOW and REAL CHANGE not just rhetoric. No more special interest change, no more foreign nation change, no more sell outs, no more favorite sons, no change for America! Robert Melaccio, Sr. Copyright 2007 © Robert Melaccio Sr. 2007

Leave a Public Comment or Question: An examination and the power of our vote! The Battleground for Change is really in Congress. Will we see the collapse of our economy? Respect for diversity of opinion sure but consensus to move forward. Ok, where does that leave America? The fallacy of change. Trust in the Free Market, yea, right! |
