Why am I blogging about Lego?

Lego has universal appeal and bridges the generation gaps. How many children’s toys can you engage yourself in so completely? I know I get bored after two rounds of snap! But give us some Lego to play with, and I am right there with the child all the way for hours if that’s what it takes to make a really snazzy spaceship. It’s great as there is no right or wrong way only great freedom to let young (and old) imagination fly.

I mentioned my love of Lego recently on a website and since then have received lots of emails from adults similarly inclined. Lego is now used as an art form and I have seen some great pics of Lego art, from the funny to the sublime. Mot recently was Steven Hawking made from Lego.
