This election is not about those who HAVE NOT.

By Robert Melaccio, sr(28,936) Robert Melaccio, sr

Now this is strictly personal opinions. You won't hear much of what my articles say on any of the main TV shows, in the newspapers or media outlets. Perhaps it is what they label fringe and then again perhaps it strikes home? In any case if you care to investigate ,read, look into, listen I feel confident you will get the answers you want. So let us start by saying perhaps years ago there was some difference in the two major parties that our parents and grandparents understood and voted for? Maybe back then politicians actually worked for them, the neighborhood, Unions, the worker, but in this day and age and in my opinion that does not exist any longer. Then the battle lines were clear as day, Democrats for the worker, Republicans for the rich. So if that is the case here is a fact to ponder, how many Unions do you see around any longer and if you are a blue collar worker you know what that means to the worker? Also, if you know of any are they really effective and why is that? Simply put, Unions are bad for profits and control. Ever hear of At Will, enough said and is there really any difference any longer?

Well I believe the root of the problem is a lack of diversity. Most of these current politicians have exactly the same ideology, agenda and perspective regardless of party. They all have been indoctrinated through years of exposure via varied means and have bought into the same ideology. Hence no real differences in approach, solutions, idea's or concepts. It is the same yesterday, today and really the future. Don’t think so then why not check it out? It is all there to be found for the one who investigates. It is as they say, in their works.

In my opinion as Capitalists they want to create more and more Free Market opportunities. Now they see this is a good light for many reasons and maybe that is ok? However, lets get to this one first. Certainly they see it as creating peace and security with everyone winning. The question is has it, and do you see it that way? I'm not anti Capitialist and I do think it is the best of mans systems when used properly. However, to accomplish this they had to dismantle America. Some here, some there, some over there, or wherever the labor is cheapest and there are no Unions or really workers rights. It means taking America and distributing it all across the globe. You see if you look, read and listen you will see borders are a real hindrance to markets. Nations like Mexico enforce their immigration and workers laws, just not their borders and why should they? They even have no problem violating ours. In my opinion borders can be tolerated for national recognition and political means but only as a reference. The trap in all this is many nations want no part of the American dream or way of life, hence conflict!

So, in my opinion this is just not an election or a society for the have not of America and in reality it never was. In fact there are the have nots all over this world and our have not are probably not as bad off as theirs. Now they used to allude to an American Middle Class. This was supposed to be the Blue Collar, factory, labor types who were the mainstay of China, oh I’m sorry America. A little slip here. We all know where those type of jobs are and why. It is called cheap labor and increased profits and to think other wise in my opinion is to play the fool. Do you really think this is about "humanity"?

So who are the new "Middle Class"? Well there is none. There are just those who have and those who have not. It is really either, or. Why do I hold that opinion? Well in this nation we have about 80% who have and about 20% average Americans making $40,000 or less and most likely much less and the really poor, about 40 to 50 million Americans. Yes, these are the ones who go to bed hungry, have low wage or no jobs or multiple jobs at $6.79 an hour, no health care and no retirement or savings. Yes, this class is growing leaps and bounds each day.

Of the 80% who have 20% of them own most of everything. So if you really want a so called middle class they are those who between the 20% who have most of it and the 20% at the bottom. You know the ones who average $50,000 to $150,000 a year. These are evidently the ones who carry the burden of taxes, etc. They are the ones Congress is concerned about. Prove it, well read what the Republicans want to do in the Sunday paper. The jury is still out on the Democrats.

Of these in the middle only about 40% actually do vote, because truth be said these politicians are the same as they are and hold the same values, ideals, desires and wants so why bother? These who do vote dictate the course of the nation to the rest of us. So when they talk about the economy doing fine and throw their statistics around and investment idea’s they are talking about themselves. Sure they are happy, everything they do is for them and all they do for themselves evidently works. Yes, the real objective of the have types is making more. That is more money, more wealth, more possessions, more of everything. So whoever delivers that is the person these  haves want.

So illegal immigration is not really an issue unless it impacts Americans ability to make enough to buy and thus increase profits. Iraq and Terror, well they upset the apple cart and are really high priority. So in my opinion, that is why Comprehensive Immigration, SPP, NAFTA, trade treaties that favor them rather then nation, laws and everything else is done or not done with one thing in mind. I’ll leave it to you to fill in the blank. After all "Money always trumps peace", GW Bush and in my opinion those who support that opinion.

So in essence, what we see by their signs, symbols, deeds and works and actually what they put into practice is what they intend to do. Rhetorically, have you ever heard anything similar coming out of the mouths of some of these types before and in their talks and speaches? It kind of sets who they really are apart does it not?  Is it wrong? Well I guess only from ones perspective or morality?

Now here is the kicker. Many over 55 Americans do not use a computer so they will not read this or any information similar that might open their thought processes. We have already mentioned the other types, personal agenda, social statement, race and religion voters and those who look for something and to them the only thing that matters in my opinion is just what I said. The poor and average, well frankly they either don’t have internet service, can't afford even a paper, may not even have a phone and when they watch TV, that is the local channels, they don’t give one damn because they hear the same thing night after night from who in my opinion are market reps for those who hold their ideology. So in fact they have no voice and they make good political talk. If you think it isn't just talk then why with all these so called leaders in Congress for decades there hasn't there been a solution?

So when you look at this election remember, if you are in that 20% who have not, in my opinion it isn’t at all about you. No, it really never was. So, I and you have the answer already. That is why America will elect these same types in November. The majority loves them all. Yes, they may complain, but "Birds of a feather flock together" and it really takes two things to make change. First you have to have something that is a real change and secondly you have to take action to do it. Both in my opinion just are not there.

Sure many who have not can hope and pray and I would rather be wrong. Perhaps I am and perhaps now is the time. Yet, time will tell as they say, but in my opinion as it stands today this election is not about those who HAVE NOT, it is all about money!.
