Just who are these candidates?By Robert Melaccio, sr(28,936) ![]() ![]() Posted Sunday, January 27, 2008 View All Blog Posts submitted by Robert Melaccio, sr Here is a quick table to outline the candidates positions at least as reported on the internet. I though a visual may help in your decision. Please note and as I stated, that no matter who, they all support the FREE MARKET, Global Big Business solution. Hence, in my opinion, no real difference. So this opinion was formed by what was gathered from the internet it was gathered from reliable sources including their own sites. It may change as we go and right up until the election. Some have changed a few times already. I have condensed it for purposes of illustration and these are, in general summation of their positions as of this writing. i suggest you go to thier sites for a more detailed explanation.
I truly believe the fact we all must understand, like it or not, is that no matter who you vote for you will get a Free Market person and a person who will work closely with Big Business. In my opinion these people are part of an elite establishment that propagate their own agenda, with a few variances here or there but in foundation and root beliefs they are the same. In fact Big Business gave their total support to John McCain here in Florida. Does that say anything?
In most of everything they match up fairly closely give or take a twist here or there. So my friends the real question is just where is this real change coming from? We evidently are not changing any people or ideologies so just how we get to where we average Americans want to be and how we do that is the choice. Does that question make you think? Notice I distinctly said average Americans.
Well simple, once again, ask the Governor of Florida, who also supports John McCain. He is also another Free Market guy and him about his trust in Allstate Insurance. Does NAFTA, SPP, Immigration, China, etc, etc, etc say anything to you? One could give numerous examples but I haven’t the time. In my opinion, based on his endorsement, he still hasn’t learned, or does it really matter? Yes, ask average Floridians and you will have your answer to what I am saying. Notice I said average. Why, Florida is predominently the home of the haves. It says a lot about America today and where we are. Now if you place someone at the top who has a direction to go in, they still need the crew to get them there. So change the captain and send a shockwave. Change the crew as well and you send a major blast. One that will resonate in the halls of power for years to come and literally the world. However, don’t make a change and you wind up where they are taking you.
So take a look at this example is fresh off of the air waves taken last evening, according to the League of Woman voters who complied these numbers. The total number of registered voters in South Carolina is 2,157,006. In last evenings election we saw about 425,000 voters turn out or about 20% of the total eligible voters in this state. However, according to the media Obama won an overwhelming victory in this state. Yes the media calls it the American dream, a great change. Rhetorically, is it a Fairy Tale victory as they described and has America spoken? Well this was only a primary. What about the other 80%? of South Carolina voters?
What can average Americans do to bring about change? Can’t be done you say. Well certainly if you do nothing come November you are right. However, the answer lies before you as does the power of the vote. Yes, everyone of these candidates and every incumbent in office must go. How do you do that. Simple, you vote for the other running against them. No change, perhaps and maybe just enough? However, you have sent a message loud and clear do as they and out you go next time around.

If the Free Market is so bad what is our alternative? Communism or Socialism? I'm supposed to work my butt off so that some slob who doesn't want to work can get everything he wants? I'm already doing that for illegal immigrants and Welfare recipients! I'm not doing it for the rest of the country! ![]() : (126 days ago.)No it is not Free Markets that are bad it is the how they are implemented. If we had fair and equal trade, perhaps many average Americans, or the poor slobs as you call them, wouldn't be out of work becuase of cheap labor or foreign goods and we wouldn't be in this mess? Since you still have a job I suspect it has eluded you that there but for the grace of God go I. Rhetorically, I wouldn't look over my shoulder. As for illegal workers, they are not immigrants. They came via no legal process, another fact many care to avoid. Thanks for the posting.
