It is now, what will you as our leader do for your nation and its people?

Well as Mr. Kennedy says, Obama is the man to bring change? Well he certainly smiles nice. He looks like a nice person. He talks excellent, a good speaker and his family looks really nice. He is young and by all visual projections and words he sounds like a good person. I can truthfully say he is probably a very decent person by all outward appearances so I guess we can judge the book by the cover in this case, right? Hey the package looks ok so why not buy the book, right? I guess we can presumes this makes him a leader and one with the right vision for America?

Frankly at one time I felt the way many did and do but then I stopped, looked, searched and listened to what he had to say and what he stood for and what he voted for and that wasn’t what I believed in. Was I willing to throw that all away, my values, ethics, character, morality just because of something I liked about him outwardly? What would that say about me? Oh, now I get it, "it works for me" and when that is the case nothing else matters, right?

Now as I stated I was for him until I learned some of his record. Like when he wholeheartedly supported Comprehensive Immigration with McCain and Kennedy and Fiengold and Ried. In fact he even placed a few more perks into the bill.  I have to ask if you like him then one can suppose you were not one of the 80% who did not want Comprehensive Amnesty, or did that go the way of this new enlightenment they call CHANGE?

Has he not been involved in what has and is taking place in America for Average Americans of all races and creeds for years? Does that matter, or is it to be ignored to make a social statement? Have you ignored that and does it matter to you? The other night, both he and Hillary defended, yes defended their position on what is in my opinion usurious interest changes for average Americans who are behind with credit card payments. Yes those fees that charge that 30% interest and up. It was ok with him, no problem and he is for average and poor Americans to be harassed, not only by high interest, but hounded day and night by phone and other means. No mention of immoral laws or deeds from him, no not even from the pulpit. Tell us average Americans if he will change that and if he feels this is immoral? Tell us if telephone abuse is not immoral. There is the mail you know. To me it doesn't show where his and their true heart lies. In my opinion if that doesn’t speak immoral nothing will. If you find  no fault then in my opinion it speaks to you as well, regardless of what you profess.

It just doesn’t add up anywhere. Don’t get me wrong, like I said, not that any of the others are either, but he is in the forefront of professing Washington needs change and he is the man to do it. Sorry, that may offend you but truth is truth, in my opinion he and they lean toward business in a  majority of issues, simple and pure and not people. If you can justify that as not true then in my opinion get a job as a loan shark and make even more money, it is called banking and Credit Cards.

So, are we to act because once a Kennedy speaks evidently truth goes forth. I can understand it is a historic day that an African American may gain the highest office in this land. Certainly I have no problem with that. If you call me a racist you don’t know my family. Any man who places America and it’s people first has my vote regardless of their race or religion.

Yes, it is time we choose someone who will make real change. A change in ideology, thinking, focus and vison. There is no vison or change here in my opinion in any of them. No nothing but the same old tired approach, Free Markets and more of it. "Listen my children and you shall hear", as they said.  Perhaps you see it different? If so where and how?

It is not how any of them look or how well they speak, or what their family looks like or what dreams you hear or imagine in their speeches. Yes, Obama does know how to invoke memories and stir the passions that can sometimes overshadow reasoning. He very carefully uses they type of phrasing one might hear emanating from Dr, King. However, Dr King said a key word here ALL.  Not give away America. No Dr. King was talking about all Americas first and then the world, not reverse. It doesn't work any other way. In other words clean up your own house first.

Think not, then take a drive up to Michigan, or yes Florida, that At Will state they brag about, or anywhere Americans of all color and races have been laid off and working miserable low wage jobs. Remember average is not color blind my friends. Yes, just go to Michigan or Florida, no not where the haves are, those they like to mingle with, no go where the average pepole are and ask them where those Free Trade jobs went? Yes and while you are at it ask those families who they feel brought this upon them? They will tell you who.The same ones who want to give amnesty to illegal workers, rewards and citizenship, scholarships for education. Yes, the education your kids can’t get. Hey, give the world a citizenship paper and get it over with. In my opinion if you ask Obama he would be all for it.

Now from a religious perspective that is fine. But we do not live in such an idealistic world and mankind hasn’t figured out as yet we are really all humans. So until then the same old systems must do. It is called sovereign nations and that is why we have borders and laws.

Now, as for me and mine, when he and all the rest comes around to respect for law, oaths and places this nations people first, in place of foreign interests and pushing Free Markets, then I will vote for him, or for that matter any of them and not before.

Yes, to use his words, reach for what is possible, write a new chapter and I’ll add mine, change them all. vote them all out!

It is not any longer "what you can do for your country". No, It is now, what will you as our leader, do for your nation and its people?
