The candidates and Illegal Workers verses Illegal Immigration.

By Robert Melaccio, sr(28,936) Robert Melaccio, sr

I continue to write to simple logic and things that by their very nature are facts.  So in speaking of a key aspect of the debate last evening let me bring these facts to you for consideration and to assist in forming your own opinion.

In my opinion it is certainly a fact that we have been and are being indoctrinated or brainwashed concerning Comprehensive Immigration Reform. Every time the politicans and the media refer to illegal workers they use the politically correct words immigrants or undocumented. After all last night they were in California and the Hispanic vote there is huge. We also recognize these people came here to get work and feed their families and a new life. No arguments with that, just the process chosen. We recognize they were exploited in their homeland, which is now undergoing a boom mainly due to the shifting of manufacturing south and they are exploited here. Money and religion or professed beliefs evidently does not mix well and it seems money always wins out.

Also keep in mind this if you know anything at all about Free Markets, The North American Union,[SPP]  which is always spoken of in passing is right on the horizon. Now scientists have stated that if you repeat things a minimum of three times or more and over and over the human mind will start to accept it regardless of truth or not.

So lets review the truth and the facts. That is the real truth which in my opinion many times politicians and yes, the media will bypass or place their own twist on the subject.

1- Regardless of how these candidates and others like to refer to these people they are illegal workers. There is no other word to honestly define them. Oh, sure they can allude to them as immigrants because it is politically correct or they fit into their ideology or personal belief but they are illegal, period.

2- Now by fact and law real immigrants go through a legal process, they file papers, produce identity, have to have a sponser that assures they will assume finacial liabilty, they pay their fees and wait. Some are waiting by fact over twenty years legally. So here is the question for you who profess God or live by the Golden Rule. I'm sorry one is not supposed to ask that, but I did. Is it not immoral you rarely hear but a passing comment or concern about these people, trying to legally immigrate? We hear more often then not illegal workers should be allowed to get in line. In fairness after these legal immigrants have arrived and all the others who have filed inbetween are processed, right? Well it is great to get in line after you have been admitted to the movie while the rest wait outside. No concern or even a comment by these politicians. It is as if this is not an issue. What is so hard to understand is their acceptance that we ignore the legal process and law and condone slipping over the fence?

3- Now to call them undocumented is also incorrect. Undocumented from the standpoint of legal documents, yes. Why do I say that? Well first of all they totally ignore the stealing of ID. ID which is necessary to do just about anything in this nation from getting a job, to banking or buying a car or home to using our Social Services. That means someone’s ID has been compromised. I presume that’s no problem to these people because they will fix it all by giving them amnesty and their paying a fine. Yes, tell that to the people who had their stolen.

4- Now to say they can’t locate these people and it would cost billions to round them up is also a sham response in my opinion. Shut down employment, fine employers who hire them and exploit them significantly and jail employers who refuse to cooperate, not them and they will return home. In fact they ignore the fact many are already going home because of all the focus. Yes, go to any Bank, Social Services office, hospital or school, that is if they will release the records, because our government has mandated they can’t give this information out, especially on illegal workers and you will find them. Privacy you know. Don’t believe it, ask someone who works in your local school system. If our Uncle Sam wanted it they could secure it from multiple sources. Ask any bill collector or Dog the Bounty Hunter. No and they don't have to go round them up but without an income it will be darn tough to stay.

5- In my opinion to say they don’t take jobs from Americans and lower wages is also not the truth. In my opinion they sort of ridiculed the person who asked that question, implying that was not true. Well tell that to the families it impacts. If you really listened carefully you heard the commentary about helping our friends south of the border. That was in passing and addressing the question of Drivers Licenses and American Afro Americans being unemployed by these illegal workers.

6- Now some of these illegal workers have purchased homes and are caught up in this mortgage mess. Is that an illegal contract when you enter into it under false premises. Why, well their ID and citizenship is false as is other paperwork and no need to go further.

6- So, rhetorically can we say omission, ignoring a crime, condoning a crime, aiding in the commission of a crime, redirecting away from that crime is of itself immoral, sin, a crime? Can anyone religious or who professes knowledge and belief in a faith say differently? Can someone cloak that in humanity while irnoring others, selectively applying their humanity as they see fit to whom they want for their own ideology? Intentions while perhaps honorable, stealing for food or to feed the family is still a crime and sin and that’s a fact Jack as the movie goes. Ask any judge if you stole from one of these big retailers to feed your child if they think its ok. Yet, we Americans have in my opinion been conditioned and indoctrinated and that evidently is now the American way and no problems. No wonder our system and character is under attack everywhere.

So if our leaders and those who want to be our leaders ignore truth did they ignore the morality of it all? To approve of sin and crime implies you also condone. So where is the morality? Well lets start with the breaking of law. Never mind a misdemeanor coming illegally but the real fact of a felony in stealing ID. What of the religious morality of sin? Hey Gods law not man’s and even while professing religious beliefs. The last time I read the Bible I think it said that one of the Commandments of God was "Thou shall not steal" and it was not modified by man. I do believe lying, cheating or in anyway concealing with intent to defraud is sin? In fact did they not all our leaders take a solemn oath before their God to preserve, protect and defend that law?

Now one can go on but I think it suffices to say, if we cannot find this immoral and 30% interest and more on credit cards not immoral and we can look the other way on spcific issues, then in my opinion by nature of their works it demonstrates a serious concern for our consideration.

Now how is it that we can apply morals and law to whatever we care to but selectively ignore that which is blatant or does not suit our perspective? Rhetorically is it all about ones agenda, ideology, free market beliefs? Now that is not to say these people are exploited both here and in their country of origin. Rhetorically, is that not the name of the game- cheap labor? They and the so called media experts never mentioned building the fence, just briefly. Instead after the show the media experts espoused their beliefs in what these two politicians would do and that was implement "Comprehensive Immigration" and collaborate with Mexico on amnesty and citizenship, their guests words, not mine.

Now are we saying 80% of America is wrong and non humanitarian? Is there a way to handle this, there is. They can come and go as needed and be paid fair wages. However, no mention of Mexico picking up their education and social tag was there? No, why should there be, we Americans complain but have been conditioned it will happen. I call it indoctrinated. Remember Bagdad Bob? Do you expect rich liberals to complain or social idealists? Certainly do we expect conservatives and big business who reap the benefits of their labor, to speak to facts, do you?

However, the great many Americans do not want what they offer as a solution yet they won’t let go. Americans can approve a work program, they can not accept reward for immorality regardless of the fines and back payments, which many believe will never happen based on what was in the bill as exceptions. They cannot accept sin and the breaking of law which undermines our very fabic and our society.

In my opinion they have told you they will push this once in office and you can take that to the bank. That also goes for Mr. McCain who has woven a wide path around facing this issue as a champion of the bill. In my opinion have the people asking the debate questions of him collard him on that?
So where push comes to shove they are mostly all the same. No real choice. Sorry, a fact. Oh, I’m sorry Americans do not care for fact, in my opinion they prefer fluff.

Now as far as my own brainwashing goes, these candidates are getting up in front of their same party, a minority of voters and really espousing the party line. Yes, delegates for their convention. This is not the general election. So like in Florida, where 70% didn’t vote and had no say, this is a meaningless process, EXCEPT  and that EXCEPT is major, this minority will give to the majority the choices, ideology and policies to vote for come November and where America ios going in the future, a fact! To may of us there is no choice and really only one choice. Read my other works and you will now what I am referring to.
