A nation torn, a nation divided = a nation in confusion.

Certainly this election is an indication of the nations fragmented ideology, opinion and beliefs.  It has been like that at times over many issues. It is a sign of freedom that men can have diverging views and opinions. It is a sign of greatness that it is allowed, openly and without fear or violence. However, at this juncture in our history we are at a crucial point. It really is almost that same point in my opinion as it was right before the Civil War. At that time we needed a leader who would hold the Union together. To hold it together because it is the very best system on the planet. The Constitution and our law is why so many want to be Americans. Oh sure they hate our greatness, our wealth but in reality that is a jealousy born of every man. They just attach a label America to identify it to. Yet, while I do not agree with President Bush on everything I do agree with what he said yesterday and as the Associated Press reported.

"The stakes in November are high. This is an important election. Prosperity and peace are in the balance GWB. How true that statement is.

I wonder when he refers to prosperity just who he is talking about? I believe we all know and hence this article. Yes, a revolution is taking place once again in this nation but will it be the right revolution is the question? People are divided right down the middle. That is the underlying issue here. Well lets look at some of the things that play into this opinion.

We are talking the issue of Free Trade, Global Markets, Open Borders which of itself is not a bad thing. What is bad in my opinion is the abuse and the greed associated with that and the power it brings to Big Business who control everything we buy, sell or trade. It becomes in my opinion no longer We the People but We the Corporation. There are no borders in trade just markets. So I point to my prior articles, all of which speak in one way or another to the issue.

When you hear the words Free Trade, Comprehensive, SPP  you see and know by the signs and symbols what they and I am talking about. No, not bad if implemented with America first! That is the key. So here is what we do know -

1- A minority of those eligible to vote actually vote. The majority stay at home apathetic, disgusted, not impressed. If you ask them why they do not vote you will get a very clear reply. They believe they have no choice and their opinion centers on anyone brings more of the same, which they do not like.

2- Of that minority about 40% of Americans who do vote they are fragmented even more then the majority who doesn’t vote, about 60% of America, votes are evenly split almost 50/50 as we saw in the last few elections. Many voting will tell you as well there is no choice and they are voting for the lesser of all evils, or what they perceive is real change. How very sad. At least the majority who do not vote have a clear understanding of what they do.

3- Now we also see that fragmentation in our culture.

4- We have no political entity or person who have the charismatic ability to pull us all together.

So we have some who believe in Hillary, some in Obama, some in McCain and Huckabee but in reality no real clear likable candidate no real leader. That is different from speaking or looking nice or good or professing a vision and talking to what we all already know is what we are looking for but providing their
same solutions in different format. No in my opinion no real choice. Of course those who like their respective candidate think they are the right choice.  I just ask where the facts are to support that?

However, if we all stopped to look at the things troubling us all we do see unity.

1- A lack of good, decent stay here in America jobs.

2- Immigration.

3- Education for our Children.

4- Health care.

5- The ability to fulfill the American Dream.

6- Equality and true freedom for all. [This in my opinion will never ever be in any nation by war or force of arms. No, it must come from a change in people to be who they profess and implement it! In this nation many complain about if you stopped and thought you would really see in truth, while not perfect, we are as close as perhaps man can ever get and we are working at it.]

7- Terror and war.

So where the tire meets the road we all do think alike and agree. We just haven’t found the vehicle and the route. In my prior articles I have spoken over and over as to why these candidates are not that vehicle or route. For people to buy into that from who in my opinion are part of the problems and who suddenly have done an about face, pointed to others and pleaded "not I", by deed, tenure and association did is unbelievable! They are of the same fabric and cloth and cut from the same coat, they just profess they have been Born Again and like recycled plastic. Ok, "show me the money" as the movie line goes!

How do I know? Simple, no not by the rhetoric but the words sprinkled throughout every speech, Free Trade, Emerging Markets, Helping People elsewhere, listen. So the truth is there for all to grasp. In my opinion there is no one that can unite this nation until they come up with a platform and ideology that places this nation first.
In my opinion we no longer are the same America you have fixed in your mind or remember. Has America and Americans forgotten it is and was the uniqueness of our Republic that made us great and not being a carbon copy of the rest of the world? Many do not even know what a Republic is. They certainly do not teach it in many classrooms. We have accepted and been indoctrinated into the one world view where nations really do not have any value any longer. One earth, one planet, one people, one Market.

Now if that worked would the tower of babel ever have had to be destroyed? Has man at any time in history in any part of this Globe ever lived in peace and harmony even in the very best of times? Has any institution or government of man actually worked, except for the few and favored? Do you really believe man can ever do this, idealists perhaps, realists no. When "money always trumps peace" how can it ever work?

So my friends you have your answers. It is right before your eyes. It is even written in the beliefs many of us espouse. Yet, to our demise we ignore it all. Yes, my fellow average Americans in my opinion we are on the train ride purchased for us all by the wealthy to a new World Order where Markets and not nations have dominion, where people are assets and resources to be utilized for the end result, profits. Will it change and can it change, perhaps? I end with this to ponder.

When a little boy I used to love the Hall of Presidents at Disney because the entire show was about our nation, our leaders, our government unique among all nations. However the most significant part of the show was the end and with it in my opinion was about the greatness of our nation and its uniqueness. In my opinion that inspiration was replaced with nothing of substance. No, the current end changed that to a focus on the New World Order. After all we are talking indoctrination are we not?

That old ending is as follows and was emphasized and accompanied by the song ‘The Battle Hymn of the Republic" catch that word once again.

It went like this:

" shall we expect some trans-Atlantic giant to step the ocean and crush us at a blow? Now the resounding NEVER comes out and then the warning we no longer hear, why?

The warning says "if destruction be our lot, we ourselves must be its author". In other words it must come from within.

In my opinion how ominous the warning. So to paraphrase from another great speech, "Testing wether this nation or any nation so conceived and so dedicated can long endure?
