Attach to a dream and then claim it as your own.

Yes a "fierce urgency of now" Dr. King, Jan 1967, Brooklyn NY. It called for the embrace of all humanity with unconditional love which is the belief of all major religions Christianity, Buddhist, Jewish and Muslim. No argument here. It is what we profess as believers in those faiths and demonstrate we are and adhere to by our works. However, if true, then I only have this question, why is this world what it is? If we who say we are believers and followers then why would we need change? Would those who profess be doing that as the works of whom they follow? Do these who lead also profess the same, many if not all of them? You mean it is the non believers who are the problem? Are there not any good people who don’t believe as we do? So if your answer is of course, then once again, why would we believe change will work unless God Himself brings it about and no mortal man? Believers we know the answer to that already.

Now any man can latch onto the great words of a famous individual. It is like a great actor whose performance brings to life that person. You can literally envision and feel what the person may have really been like in the portrayal. Many actors practice tone, inflection emphasis to portray the person as accurately as possible. The pause, the twang, gesture or whatever brings them as close to the real persons humanity as possible. They may even have the qualities that person exhibited making them even more realistic in the mind of the one hearing, hence an increased belief or false hope.

It is evident people are mesmerized by the words of a great man and attach in memory to that man and hope of that vison that it will come to be once again and be fulfilled. Who wouldn’t be. Well my friends, wake up to reality. Yes, to the vision, but it does not mean that those who speak the words can do what that specific man did.

So we must fall back to the only thing man has to determine that possibility and that is the works of the other who portrays or uses the words of greatness to motivate others. Yes, when we examine the record do we see Dr, Kings values? No not in words but deeds? Like it or not it is the true measure of a persons ideology and beliefs. Not what they say but what they do.

Who wrote or participated or not in the laws written allowing such to happen? If not signing off on the law did they turn a blinds eye to the practices of what brought about Foreclosures. How about the knowledge of the breaking of law and a ck of concern for the charging of 31% usurious rates on credit cards, illegal workers and low wages as just a few of the myriads of problems? This article doesn't have enough room to spell out the works of these politicians and business leaders? Oh, you say Dr. King did break the law for what he deemed correct. Yes, but he also submitted to it and went peacefully to jail and paid what he was obligated to do. Do you see that demonstrated here?

So we can go on and on about what these politicians have done or failed to do. You can list them as well if you care to. So let me ask you does that speak to the love Dr. King spoke to? Yes, I ask you sincerely, you who jump to vote for them because they profess God and quote Dr. King and yell change from the rooftop, are you positive of their deeds and do they really match your beliefs? Can it be they are but words and only the words we all like to here, nothing else? Have we heard them before - New Orleans, Motor City, etc, etc, etc? Have you heard them before?

No, my friends it is not only Washington that needs change, a Washington by the way these candidates are all a part of regardless of what they say. No, what Dr. King was talking to was truth, a Born Again change in us all. No foreclosures, no greed, no exploitation, no starvation or hunger, no wars, no sickness, no laws or the ignoring of law to favor trade, business, the weathy an ideology. No, none of that my fellow human beings. You check, you be the judge.

Tell me you do not see that happening at the hands of politicians, or for that matter any of our leaders and if so then why the fool? Why when we all know their works do we believe them? Is it your dream, your hope?

Now anyone, especially a politician, an actor, a person who is a leader can size the moment, size the concept, seize the inspiration, take the spark and use the words and make it theirs while espousing the author. Do not ministers do this daily? Are they not trained to do this?  It is not their or their words  and while some use the very same verses they light no fire. Take another who uses the identical verse and people are slain in the spirit and run about all excited and charged. It is called charisma. A person with the gift of presence, tongue, speech can literally take control and use it for their ends. No denying that, look at Jones Town or Hitler? Hey it is the truth as simple as that. We hear what we want to to even though their may not be substance or what we percieve is not what is meant.

Now  for clarificatin go back and read Dr. Kings speech.  The dream that Dr. M.L. King expressed is the dream of all good, decent and God fearing men of all nations, races, creeds. However, to imply this can be attained by some political movement or party or a person is in my opinion a distortion. Why, because if all men were who they profess, Buddhist, Christian, Jew or Muslim then this article and the condition and plight of man would not be what it is. It is that simple, but in reality and my opinion many do not Love their Neighbor and certainly not our enemies, although we profess such, right. It is an individual act of each person on this planet to implement, do you?

To imply we need someone to lead us to change this government world and that they are the one to do it is in my opinion an affront to Dr. King. You must change people, change Congress, change our leaders all for the are all part of what is happening and I am not just talking here in America but all over. Yes, you I and all good people everywhere. Dr. King spoke to America first because we were supposed to be the light, but it was a universal message.

So, I once again speak to the deeds of all of this group because they all had and have a hand excluding no one. Certainly if you read any of my prior articles you have no need for me to repeat them other then to say we shall know them by their works. Do you really believe their works will be different once elected? God help us all that we have become that incapable of discernment. Enchanted in my opinion.

As I have stated "show me the money" as the movie goes, before you claim the title leader.
