Woman murdered and then raped but not by the same man..By Creative(51,537)   Posted Tuesday, February 19, 2008 View All Blog Posts submitted by Creative This is a very strange and sad tale which I came across today.

A young woman who was stabbed to death in 2005 was then raped as she lay dying or dead in the driveway of her own home. Her rapist says while he regrets 'taking advantage' of the corpse, he did not kill her.
The rapist Dixie said:
"I have gone over it during the last three years. I don't know what went through my mind.I crouched down from behind where the legs were. I took full advantage of someone and I should not have done it."
The rapist claims that he left a friends house late at night after a drug and alcohol binge, came across some 'legs' and had sex. He only thought something was wrong when after he bit her she failed to react. He then tried to cover up his DNA evidence by contaminating the body with cement dust from a nearby skip. After this he ran back to his friends house. His victim Sally-Anne Bowman 18yrs old had been stabbed 7 times and lay in a pool of blood.
What are the chances that this poor girl met a murderer and a rapist on the same night?
Either way, he remains a rapist who without doubt had sex without consent and deserves to be sentenced accordingly.
