One and one is two, so why three now?

Ok, one and one has always equaled two so why now do we get three? Just another way of saying we get a different answer from these who lead our government. Is it another way to say to us that our new President is going to change things that are reality and we are supposed to believe it. One can go down the list item after item and nothing adds up, yet for some reason people are oblivious to what is all around them. They really are either so desperate for change or and I will elaborate further, they really do not care about change.

So what it says very clearly and every distinctly and which I have been trying to avoid saying and trying my best to be nice and polite about is that we have evidently in my opinion become a nation of covetous types who’s only interests evidently are our own and the hell with the rest. Why form that opinion? Well certainly wealth is a recognized part of our national makeup. So when we talk about our problems do we perceive them in a sense of urgency? In my opinion the average person is too busy trying to survive and the rest, oh well, they are upset but it hasn’t hit home as yet. Lets focus on average Americans and the poor. 40 million out of about 300 million gives you about 13% or so of the population. When we identify 13% or less being average or poor that isn’t a hell of a lot on the ledger sheet, as any accountant would say. A manageable number to use their jargon.

Now there are other intrinsic factors that contribute to all this which are really very significant. It speaks to the morality of any nation. That just doesn’t apply to just the United States. Hey take out a mirror and look in it if you are throwing blame this way. No, what I am talking to is morality.  In my opinion it shows in the character of people when they cannot give you a straight answer to 31% interest as being usurious or immoral. It shows when no one speaks about the living conditions of migrant workers, illegal workers, their pay and their exploitation. No, just where are these politicians in that they do not see this and by what they fail to do allow it to continue? Where are they when laws and oaths are broken or ignored?

So if we cannot find 31% or more interest, excessive fees and late charges excessive and usurious interest, the breaking of law and oaths and any other number of items that could fall very definitively into the category of sin, just what is one and one anymore? It certainly is not two.
Ok, still do not understand? If we do the math right, 80% of the wealth of this nation is owned by 20% of the people. If 13% are average and poor and own little to nothing then that leaves 67% fighting for the rest of what is left. That 20% is shrinking and the 13% is growing and I might add rapidly upwards.  So in reality 87% of this country fall into what I call the have category. So I guess Obama and Hillary were right when they defined middle class as making $70,000 and up. What can one say when they are having a hard time making it?

Why do I say that? Well as I define and also by statistics, the haves own a nice car or two. A fairly upscale home in a upper class neighborhood, have health care, pensions, a decent job, perhaps more then one income, own a business, receive investment income and invest, go on vacations, buy at upscale stores, eat out and in general have no real complaints. Haves, regardless of what they profess usually do not give a hell of a lot to others. The rich do as long as there is a write off or it has their name attached. The majority of giving, yes and a fact, is via the average and the poor. Hey just facts so don’t be mad, you might be an exception?

Now haves are concerned as far as political issues go with the war on terror and the economy and everything else is really a not so important issue. What the government does with Comprehensive Immigration reform is really not an earth shaking matter to them. Sure they may get upset there are illegal workers but as long as it doesn’t impact them directly, no real worry. They can even be "humanitarians" about it all, liberals, forgiving. In fact if they employ some they see it "helping their fellow man"? They are after all feeding the hungry. Well maybe for less then minimum wage but after all they had nothing when they came and something is better then nothing, right? Morals, not an issue now. It has been replaced with what they teach as Ethical Relativity. Meaning morals are all relative when it works for me. In other words who is to say what is moral or not? I guess they got me there and perhaps even you. So if one steals your ID just look at you were helping them and they needed it to get that lower then minimum wage job. Nothing immoral about that, right? Once again, one and one isn't two any longer.

So what we see here at work is mom and pa America. Grandma and grandpa who still has a piece of the American dream and for the like of them they can’t figure out why others are so upset. Their little world couldn’t be any better. Give them Apple Pie, a Flag and a parade and they are set. We then have the college crowd, who like all other young are dreamers and idealists and eager to change the world, yes someone else’s not theirs. Little do they know and why should they? In my opinion they are also being indoctrinated and do not even recognize it.

Of course we then have the liberals and socialists and those who have been wronged and demand justice and who want to change anything at all. Nothing is ever right and as long as there is something to be had they work hard for it. Of course the business owners and those who hold professional positions, well they are in pretty good shape and as long as no one is taking from them why not just be silent and go for the ride.

So there is only one answer or conclusion. They really, although there is a lot of talk, yes, they really do not give a damn. It is evidently I and some others who are the ones who haven’t seen the forest? I really thought people would be upset with the circumstances in America and how it impact their children and their posterity? Yes, upset enough to really want to make change and not what is in my opinion a facade

So why do I come to that conclusion? Well the facts and the signs and symbols all about.  As the song states, what will be will be. So Obama, Hillary McCain in my opinion bring nothing, NADA, zilch, zero to the table. Why, by fact and works, they bring more of the same, more of the same solutions, working with more of the same people who gave us this exact situation and yes they will tell you, look you in the eye, quote great people and come up with real great slogans but in the final analysis everything is exactly the same and "that's a fact Jack" as the movie line goes.

Yes a fact  by nature of the people. Yes, fact,  the same old tired, tried and true Washington crowd they will have to work with as President. Yes, the same old tried and true, Kennedy, Feinstein, Graham, Reid, Pelosi, Biden and on and on and on. No difference, but I guess they all will be baptized and born again and come out new in ideology, direction, change, right? Rhetorically, they will have seen the light and emerged different.  Both sides of the isle will be united through this great leadership we have seen demonstrated these last years and decades, right? The president will speak the Words of direction and we all know how powerful words are right and all will automatically follow to the tune, right?

However, just however, if one stops to think, Ok, take a moment, perhaps it is the same old song but in a new package? Yes, like a just released updated addition of an old movie with never before seen clips. So let me ask you who long for change. Yes, you college educated, yes, Grandma and Grandpa, yes you retired just how do you expect change with the same bunch?

So my fellow Americans let me close with this question. One and one is two, so why three now? It just doesn’t add up and for the likes of me people buy it?

Yes, the Easter Bunny in November. Well just an opinion but when you bite into it don’t worry about damaging your teeth, it’s hollow inside and breaks easily.
