Sharone Osbourne - Top of the StropsBy Creative(51,639)   Posted Monday, February 25, 2008 View All Blog Posts submitted by Creative Sharon Osbourne, wife of English music artist Ozzy Osbourne, shot to fame when her family featured in a reality TV show depicting their home life, which was akin to watching the Adam's family except the Osbourne dogs weren't house trained, neither for that matter were the kids...or the parents.
The UK audience warmed to thus hugely dysfunctional family and to be fair those unruly kids have come good since the program aired. Daughter Kelly has a nice presenting spot on Project Catwalk and Jack Osbourne has been doing lots of daredevil activities in a show about extreme sports and generally extreme things! Sharon however, has yet to grow up. She has been hosting along with others the UK's X-Factor and has during her time there had a number of major strops! Not least refusing to cast her vote on live shows, walking off set, saying she quit, and finally allegedly she has quit. Well, let it be for real this time I say!
The strops seem to largely center around her acts not doing very well in the show. Given that the show is supposed to be about the acts and their rise to fame and fortune, why has she such a blatant vested interest in herself? Apparently she dislikes losing but really what is lost? These shows are game set and match from the very beginning and if the audience can see the clear winner what the judges and mentors do isn't going to change anything.
Meanwhile, Sharon's latest strop seems to center around Ozzy singer Dannii Minogue. Sharon claims Dannii got the job due to her looks not due to her contribution to the music industry, hmm and I wonder why you got the job Sharon? Your contribution to making a real life version of the Simpsons perhaps? Don't kid yourself. Before that reality show, you were a nobody and regardless of any musical connection it would not have been enough to get you on the X-Factor.
Digital spy says THIS of the latest Sharon Osbourne super strop:
"Sharon Osbourne has quit her role as an X Factor judge due to an ongoing feud with Danni Minogue, reports thelondonpaper......... Osbourne admitted in a TV interview that she was unhappy with Minogue as a judge, saying: "Dannii knows she's there because of her looks, not because of her contribution to the music industry." Sour grapes Sharon, sour grapes.
