The line between them.By Robert Melaccio, sr(28,936) ![]() ![]() Posted Wednesday, February 27, 2008 View All Blog Posts submitted by Robert Melaccio, sr Ok before we start let me say I don’t like any of the candidates regardless of who they are and certainly what respective party they belong to because of their political positions on issues which have directly impacted average Americans and this nation. Their ideology, political agenda’s and their political beliefs are almost, if not close to exactly the same with a few variables. Sorry, it is there for anyone to check out by nature of their voting records. The key is those variables which are abortion and the war. Remove them and for the most part the rest is eerily the same. No and it is not about them personally, their family, race, religion or gender. It is all about what they have done and failed to do as politicians. It is about a Global ideology and a Free Trade implementation that in my opinion has impacted this Union and Republic immensely. For me it was never about Free Trade but how we conduct it. So just what in my opinion are we talking about when we consider any of them for the highest position in the nation and to lead us. Do we do that in believing what they say, which I call "fools gold", or what I have labeled "The Easter Bunny" or do we look at deeds? Regretfully, I admit that sometimes I expect people when considering or thinking about something important to stop, listen, observe, see, look and hear and I do mean really hear [that went way past most] and which this society in my opinion has merged into one word, see. I see and that is what counts, the book by its cover. In my opinion when it comes to the Democrats do not let anyone kid you for one moment that race and gender is not the motivating factor and the historical significance of it and substance is a secondary issue. It is perhaps in my opinion the most significant act of political correctness that will ever been made and while people will certainly deny it, it is what it is. I do not say people do not see these candidates only in that perspective or as not having the ability they evidently want. No, it is as I said and in my opinion that the predominantly selection criteria is race or gender. Mr. McCain, while having no race or gender card to play, pursues the same ideology on most issues as the Democrats except for the War and abortion and as he himself states that is who will vote for him and that is what separates him from the others. Eliminating all of that above, what do you see in these people as the leader you want?
So there is a distinct line being drawn right down the middle again and for those voting for any party and one can surmise by the mix it we will be down to a few key states and a 51 -49 split once again. Regardless if the rest of America gets out and votes. I am talking about the Presidential race which is not the battleground for Americans. That’s simply the way it will be. Why, well look at it this way. We basically have on one side those I have identified as the haves. On the other side the have not. Both governed by the haves no matter who wins because they all have. So while our heads are swirling around this terrific race, how exciting and for what, we will not be focused on all of the same old tired Washington bunch who are also running for office and who silently sneak back into office. Yes, the same old tired Washington, do little to nothing crowd these candidates say they will change and get this, with our help. So, what do we know? Well we know Black America is predominantly on one side. Here is an extract from a recent posting- on the Web- theirs not mine, a Democratic congressman from Atlanta, aell known prominent black leader, defected from Clinton's campaign in the face of near-majority black support for Obama. I think that affirms that my opinion in relation to this observation is at least reasonable. In my opinion the white vote is split depending on economics. Hispanics well they don’t know who they wish to vote for any longer because the Comprehensive Immigration issue looms over everyone. However, in my opinion they lean more Democratic as their bread and butter party. Woman, well I feel a large percentage of professional woman will go Democratic as will the young and college age crowd indoctrinated by school and the press and ideals. Finally the poor and many average Americans will definitely vote Democratic. That leaves the wealthy haves, those who have the most to lose and the elderly, silent majority, many retired and those people called conservatives and who are for the war and who mainly vote Republican. Of course sprinkled by a few of the above of all groupings because emotions do run high on just about every issue today. So if I were a Republican, any third party that takes away from the Democrats will be a good thing. Hello Ralph Nadar, glad to see you! As for me and as I said it matters little to nothing. Do we really think George Bush leads anything? That he is the architect of what we do? That he thought this all up and is having it carried out as the leader? So the real question is do we Americans even know who the real architect and leaders are? That is the real question? Do we really think any of these candidates once elected to office will be the architect of some new ideology or way and will actually drive the car to where they and we want it to go? No, someone is driving the car and we just aren’t going to where we want it too go. Rhetorically, do we really believe we are on some unplanned day trip or ride? Rhetorically, once again perhaps with the way things are going some might be able to say that just may be the case? So really while we all fettle about with who we are going to elect as President who has set the agenda? Well we know that money, big business and greed set the tone and push the car. That money is funneled through lobbyist to the candidates and that in my opinion is where their allegiance lies. That gets us back to how to how change that agenda that has done so much harm to this nation? So the battle as I said in my earlier articles is for Congress. This is the true battleground. It is an individual battle in each state because one state alone cannot change the outcome or mix in Congress. If we fail to change Congress then in my opinion we have bought the farm as the old saying goes. Change Congress ever so slightly and we shift the balance. Why is that essential? It places a doubt that any bill or law becuase it can't be passed without a majority. So placing the right Americans in who place America first is the key for each state and subsequently America! So if a first time reader I ask you to drift back through my other articles and read. It is really quite logical and needs no explanation yet is might provide some information for your consideration. After all this is just one man’s opinion and we all have individual choices which equal the sum of it all. So what I have been writing to is what I feel America needs to survive and that is jobs. Not just any job but good paying, long term, stay here jobs and nothing short of that will change anything and to think any other way, well what can one say. As Mr. McCain has said ‘"those jobs ain’t coming back". Yes, thanks to him and them all. Hey they say they are leaders. Why didn’t they lead and save those jobs? Let me put this as plain as day concerning the ideology of those we currently have in office. First they all belong to the same, club, check it out, the same economic class, they all graduated from the same type of educational institutions that teach and indoctrinate in the Free Trade Global agenda and they have been indoctrinated in the ways of Big Business and Washington by their peers. Yes, that same old tired bunch Obama speaks about - Kennedy, Reid, Pelosi, Feinstein, Dodd, Graham, McCain, Marteniz and on and on and on. Yes that same bunch that will make the same choices if they are returned to office. That same bunch that 80% of us say aren't doing a good job. Hey don't tell that to the 20% who own 80% of it all they really do not care. So lets use this simple as apple pie example. If you are going on a trip from LA to NYC you have multiple ways to get there. The point being you will get there. How and when is your choice but we all can agree it is NYC or bust. So my friends no matter what party there is no difference. They come from the same indoctrination. They have been molded, shaped and groomed and frankly all are bookends. They execute the same plan. yes, like a football team no matter who goes into the game it is "the game plan" that counts. Perhaps that is why there is never much originality and always the same solutions and the same results? As they say on the corner ‘think about it" and then vote them all out.
What can you do? Well here is step one. if you agree with what I am writing to then spread the word to all you know to tune in here and take a peek. I try to post different things daily of interest. if one can spread to two, two to three and on and on the message certainly will get out. Hey It only has to strat with one to get the ball rolling.
Yes and for those skeptics this is not a get rich promote me thing. As the owners can tell you this is not about money. I write based on my beliefs and opinions which I hear daily from many average Americans who agree and yes disagree and from the number of readers on both of my locations, there are more who think the same then not. So if you have an idea to share with other Americans feel free to jump in and let go. I respect diverse opinion and when presented respectfully, we all can all gain from it.
