If you want to find your one true love - take a chance!

‘Looking for that special someone’ but in the case of the men’s profiles they often follow that up with, ‘I won’t have a meaningless relationship for the sake of it if she’s not the one.’

Two things about this:

Either the men aren’t really looking for the ‘one’ but several ones as in one-night stands and this is a great way to avoid commitment by telling the lady afterwards, ‘you’re not THE one’.

Or

Because the man didn’t feel an instant ‘I want to marry you rush’ upon meeting for the first time, they genuinely believe the woman not to be the one. This leads me to ask, who is really reading Mills & Boon books? I thought mainly women but now I’m not so sure. Love at first sight can happen, but it is rarely how long and lasting love develops. Many happily married couples will tell you that they grew on each other and in some cases didn’t even like each other when they met!

I’m not saying chaps, that you should hurl yourself into every relationship that is on offer but you may just have missed the one, because you never gave her a chance!
