As we slowly start to pull out our troops will we now see an escalation because of insufficient "boots on the ground" as many military leaders were concerned about? I don’t know about you but I’m tired of our young fighting for people who have been killing themselves for eons while they cozy up to our sworn enemies. Is there something wrong here?

While some candidates talk of withdrawal the President and the Republican candidate see our presence there for years. When will they be able to support themselves and is this blood worth it? If they do not want freedom then how do we dare think we can impose it? Is there something wrong here?

What about our military resources active and reserves that are in dire need of help? Not enough men or equipment and our troops spend their own money on updated equipment. No we may be technology wise still a Super Power but as far as manpower goes we are inadequate to support even this war. Is there something wrong here?

So here we are in hard times and the world hating America, building a tanker for OUR military so what do we do? You got it, we export it along with the technology and jobs offshore and take the small end for ourselves never mind the rest. Is there something wrong here?

Why did it take so long to take care of our returning veterans and even now are they truly being helped as they need to be? How many will come home shattered by multiple tours in a war zone. Oh, I got you, they asked for it. Speaks a lot to you in my opinion of course. Will society not pay somewhere? Are you sure it won’t be you? Is there something wrong here?

So lets switch gears and ask why they always have billions to shore up the market but 50 million Americans have no health insurance, trade agreements that favor other nations at our expense, 35 million go to bed each day hungry, 41 million on the edge of poverty in the greatest nation on earth. The wholesale giveaway of our resources, ports, highways and technology to nations that despise our way of life and want our demise. One thinks of an elderly woman living on a fixed income with her children who is bed ridden and receives no Home Care help because she has too much money with $1100.00 in the bank. Is there something wrong here?

 

 Lets see, many out of work or working for $8.00 and hour or even less, but the unemployment rate is fabulous. Yes, the stealing of ID, the social costs and strain on taxpayers along with the free education and yes and everything we can possibly do to welcome a low cost work force which along with retiree’s who work drives down the pay levels in already go nowhere jobs, a fact. Best estimates 20 million illegal workers and growing and it will continue even with Comprehensive Immigration "reform". Just where has any of these candidates committed to ending their dream of Comprehensive Immigration Reform that they still support. A reform that 85% of us do not want? I don't know about you but I'm tired of the laws being broken and oaths being ignored and our leaders calling illegal workers who broke our law, immigrants. I'm tired of those same ones who assist them in breaking the law and to commit sin as well. Is there something wrong here?

Yes, I don't know about you but I'm tired of green card recipients getting education, grants and all kinds of assistance to make it here along with good paying American jobs when we, our children and real Americans can't get spit, NADA, zero, nothing and we are told we aren't educated or capable enough. Is there something wrong here?

Then again do you really truly believe we have done anything about the home foreclosure problems except a few facades and only for "responsible" people? These banks and institutions do not want to do anything. They are making a major effort to sell offshore. Why, they have the bucks and not Americans, simple. Just ask people with the problem to get the truth. Is there something wrong here?

Have we even heard one peep about that 31% Credit Card interest we all know is immoral or any of the other write offs and tax breaks on "unsecured debt" that would really help Americans and now? Is there something wrong here?

Do we not think that the current fuel crisis will not have a significant impact on our economy across the board? What do we do with ever rising food prices, power and no gas in the tank to get to work?  Is there something wrong here?

Have we heard anything more then a few words about our crumbling infrastructure? Is there something wrong here?

Why aren’t those who say they are leaders back in that town they say is ineffective and the cause of all our problems, leading and changing, why do we have to wait? Perhaps they have been trying as best they really could or just perhaps they agree with most of what was done? Is there something wrong here?

 

How can one really believe these people will change things, how? Is there something wrong here?

 

Yes one can go on and on and on and my articles have just about covered it all and yet, will we see any real change? Will we see the same ones in Congress, give or take a face here or there or will we see new ones across the board? If we see the same will we get more of the same and if so Is there something wrong here?

Now to ask this question Is there something wrong here of what is happening in America you need not be a PHD, an economist, have a masters degree or anything else of higher education. You just need common sense. I don't know about you but I'm tired of those who in my opinion are ineffective legislators or walk to a different drummer. That is Congress, the President and in general leadership at all levels that frankly serves only their own interests.

Is there something wrong here? You bet there is an it is time we changed it or frankly shut up and go for the ride. Is there something wrong here? Only in the eyes of the beholder.
