Acts of the few and the violation and plunder of America.

By Robert Melaccio, sr(28,936) Robert Melaccio, sr

Yes, the acts of the few which allowed for Foreclosures, credit card usury, outsourcing of American industry and jobs and illegal worker abuse, etc, etc, etc, in my opinion aided in the  violation and plunder of AMERICA.  You see violation is one of the most loathsome of acts because it is perpetrated upon the helpless, forced on they who are in many instances powerless to stop it and many times the most trusting of people. Plunder is the taking of all that people have of any real worth. In America the dream and what was always considered the foundation and building block of middle and average Americans was home ownership. Home ownership in my opinion for many Americans was what everyone worked for and that paid mortgage was the sign and symbol you made the goal and you had secured your final years for you and your loved ones. Now with ARM and Interest only type loans and the shrewdness of those who created and manipulated many a persons and families dreams have been destroyed. Yes and with it went the building block and foundation of core America. It is in my opinion as I say, the violation and plunder of America.

I liken it to being an act of irreverence, meaning having no respect for and in this case We the People or average Americans and working class families. I do not find that out of line in my opinion since the objective never was in the root sense people, it is and always was about money.

So we find ourselves now looking once again to our, and once again I will use the term our representatives in as you have guessed in a sarcastic manner. It is in effect a relationship of trust bestowed upon them by us to be our representatives, entrusting them by solemn oath to work for the common good of We the People and not business or any other entity. Will they like that opinion? Why would they? We only have what they have done or failed to do to form an opinion on so I ask you if you are satisfied? Three quarters of Americans think not. Then who the heck approves of and votes for these people?

Can anyone honestly say they have by what they have done or failed to do fulfilled their solemn responsibility? Can we leave any out? Well certainly not all approve and their are some who uphold their honor and oath. We know them as well by their works. However, rhetorically, can we honestly say they all represent us? Rhetorically do we not see many of them as coming to us wrapped in their expensive suits and ties, laughing and joking among themselves and enjoying the La Dulce Vita [good or sweet life]? They use words like responsible when applied to what they expect of average Americans when they, in my opinion, are the epitome of irresponsibility. Yes and so sadly they truly believe, yes truly believe they do good and that alone is unbelievable when we see what is strewn in their path. The work of their hands. The fruit of their labors, yes their labors. It is in my opinion the utmost of gall, pride and ego.

So when one looks at any of the problems impacting America one can only think of the words violation and plunder to describe what is happening. It is a violation of body, soul and being in every aspect leaving the object broken in all ways.

In my opinion they have allowed, helped, aided and assisted those who connive and manipulate trusting people into various sorts financial and other hardships while blaming, yes get this blaming everyone else but themselves, wow. Rhetorically can we consider them inept or part and parcel of the problem? Hey, "show me the money" if it is any different? I’m open to your argument in their behalf. Are you going to talk about markets? Well that answers who you are in the scale of things.
Well what about this? They dare to talk of going to your friendly banker. They actually have the nerve and gall to say that and one would think at least kindly that they are naive when they do and not just plain stupid and ignorant rather then placating?  In my opinion your friendly banker could care less about people. In my opinion when they put on their banker suit it is not about anything but money, period. Leave God for Sunday. They have it all, write offs, bailouts.

Yes, roll it all up and spit it out it comes out violation and plunder. They can call themselves believers, Born Again, good and decent or whatever they care to but to allow this to even come about and then talk and talk while bailing out the big money boys while leaving the people to the wolves. In my opinion shameful is more appropriate. Rhetorically, does shame matter when it comes to money.

Morality, what’s that but a joke. In my opinion it does not exist in this new world system. Now certainly many people will say those who took these mortgages should have known better. It was their own fault. Well in my opinion that speaks to the character of those individuals who think like this. Yes, like you, do they sit there and read the fine print on your car purchase, page after page after page. At some point integrity, honesty and trust, remember that, comes into it. That is what decent people expect.

Yes and government help. Well those of us who know what that means can be summed up in one word, in my opinion FACADE. So until these "leaders" show us by their works what they profess they are and not what they have shown us to date the violation and plunder in my opinion will continue. It is perhaps one of the most grievous episodes in American history and perhaps the true nail in the coffin.

Harsh words for harsh times. Yes a call to them to be who they say they are. Not what they have been. Do I hope it will change? I think you have my answer over and over again as to my belief if it ever will? No, hope yes but facts and their works shows very clearly what they have delivered.

So as you know, until average Americans take action and Change Congress to Change America in my opinion we will have more of the same.
