Dreams can fortell the future

Dreams can fortell the future or at least warn you about it ..in my opinion!

I once had a dream (1995) about an old school pal who I had not seen since he was 18yrs old (1988). When I awoke, I gave some thought to this pal and  the fact that I'd heard he'd been very unwell after he contracted meningitis.

This thought process led me to look up the symptoms of meningitis in a medical book, something I hadn't done before, not as a result of a dream at least!

Less than one week after this, I was at home with my then husband and he began to complain of a stiff neck and severe headache. I looked at him and immediately was reminded of my dream and the meningitis connection. I dimmed the lights and raised them again and asked him if he was affected by that. He was.

I immediately ran out of the house to the call box across the street and called the out of hours Doctor. I made sure I gave them the symptoms needed for them to realize THIS was a meningitis case they were dealing with. Thankfully they did. The Doctor was there rapidly and drove us both to hospital where my ex remained for a full week being treated for viral meningitis.

Now had I not had my dream one week earlier and been prompted to look up the symptoms of meningitis, I might not have acted so swiftly and got my husband the help he needed. So I do indeed believe that the dream was leading me to this outcome. Some would disagree I know.

Having precognitive dreams which appear to tell the future is a matter hotly disputed by the science community and many others outside it, but that is because there is no explanation for 'seeing' into the future.

I however do very much believe in the power of dreams, and have learned over the years to tell which ones I should pay heed to and which I should ignore. I have a dream analysis site if you'd like to read more about this here.

Meanwhile if you have a dream that is troubling you, write it down and consider what the various elements might represent to you. Much of what we dream is no doubt meaningless but just occassionaly you might be dreaming about something that will help you make an important decision on the future.

Sleep tight!
