Is Free Trade, Globalism, The New World Order Wrong?By Robert Melaccio, sr(25,039) ![]() ![]() Posted Wednesday, April 30, 2008 View All Blog Posts submitted by Robert Melaccio, sr If one contemplates Free Trade and a one world system we call Globalism, perhaps it seems plausible, realistic, conceptually sound and even what this world needs? In fact I suspect many an educated man looking at the total picture, with good intentions and even sound business reasoning might come to that same conclusion. However, and that however, is the monumental drawback, as it was and is with all other systems that man has created, it cannot ever control the human elements or greed, exploitation, ego, pride, power, corruption, etc. Did not Marx and his Communist form of government feel that this was the answer for the poor and disadvantaged? It was supposed to be the epic struggle of the worker verses the haves. However, what sounds good in theory does not always pan out in practice. It just cannot be done by mere professions or words. The temptations are enormous and for educated men and woman to actually ignore this as the root cause of its failure illustrates they really do not have a grasp, understanding or knowledge of the things that undermine it as a workable concept. Yes the wealthy for the most part do not, nor do they ever suffer the results of their decisions to the magnitude of the average people or poor. That is except where profits and money are impacted. So just what is the answer? Well that is not as easy a solution as they may let their pride and ego think? To create a global world order they need to dismantle those nations that have. Are you going to be happy when they take yours to give to someone else? Well wake up they already have. This they have done with the United States with devastating effect. It is not just creating a Democracy where free trade can take root it is creating a fair environment where all prosper. It is creating an environment where nations can be self reliant and take care of their own. It is not about emerging markets and cheap labor. It is all about the giving nation getting something in exchange as well as the receiving nation. Certainly we do not see this and if you do please tell us all. Yes and please don’t give us an example of an assembly plant. That is not manufacturing. The real facts are we see the opposite and when we look at the receiving nation we see the signs of greed, corruption, exploitation take hold even before it has a chance to proper for all. It is a fact that smacks one right in the face. Now if we had a semblance of a planned implementation, yes planned, something in my opinion not in these graduates capability any longer, because they have not been indoctrinated into the school of planning and doing it right the first time. Therefore they never seem to get it right, always have enough money to throw at it and never have a product that meets the objective or intent. Is not shock and awe a blatant example? Is not our economy? One can go down the list item after item and see corruption, exploitation and greed as the root of all our issues and problems. Yet, as our President said today and I have to agree, it is a lack of leadership. Do, we address the issues head on and resolve them? He sort of left himself out of it all though didn't he? Has anyone told him he is supposed to be the leader? You give me an example of any of them as leaders. No not writing or passing a bill, leading, getting the job done. The answer we all know and yes these same ones know. Yet we who work for these types know when they are befuddled, lost, don’t quite know what to do. Postponement, another meeting, delay and the inevitable blame. You see it in what they do and what they fail to do. Why, well in my opinion they just do not have the skills to lead. It is that simple. I have experienced it throughout my life. The college graduate with his new Masters or PHD who ruins a company. Hey yes many good ones but please don’t exclude the bad. I can name and show a few right now who destroy lives while seeking more for themselves. I bet you can as well? Yes, talk, connive, compromise but never solving the problems. Yes always redirecting, avoiding, passing it with no thought of responsibility. To boot they have to feed statistics to the masses that as presented in the paper are evidently tainted to show how wonderful everything is. Go down the list and the solutions are right before them. No not simple matters but they can be accomplished by talented fair minded people. What is one? Well how about Fair Trade not just Free Trade. That is where both parties gain and not a one sided deal. Usury, why do these so called professors of faith not find the simple answer right before them? If 31% is not immoral or even not ethical then I do not care what God they profess openly it isn’t the one they evidently follow. Rhetorically do we know who they follow after? Foreclosure, another facade. Yes, go work with your bank, please, give us a break. They haven’t got the slightest idea, none, nada, zilch. Illegal Immigration and they still can’t face the lie. Iraq, well they are befuddled. Quite frankly the president is right, for a change even though he never thought it out before leaping head first You cannot compromise with someone who does not care if they die and take you with them. What does it take to understand that? Why is it so hard to understand that if we leave them alone they will be at our door. Have we not learned from history "peace in our time". If there are many good people out there who are sick of this war and in that region then why have they not risen up? It is also simple, because they have truly become the bovine, the real bovine. They are subjugated and subjected to the powers that be, uneducated they follow their spiritual leaders and those they trust. Sound familiar? So in consideration of that this New World Order isn’t really a bad concept if done with good intentions, morality, ethics and strong leadership. After all that is what people are looking for and a fair shake. However, do you really believe man will be able to implement it fairly? Better yet, can they who want it? As I say it takes strong leadership, not who in my opinion we have now, no not one leader among them all. No in my opinion the world is not ready for the New World Order and that is the reason for all the woes. If we truly want to create free societies and fair and open trade then what reasonable person would want death? Yes only the zealot. To think it is only the US who profits and exploits is a mistake and an easy cop out. Europe’s biggest oil producers posted 17 billion first quarter profits while the oil companies say they just don’t know why. The economic fundamentals are just not there, sound familiar? No, go back and read some of my earlier works. Just today they stated growth here at .06%. If you read my prior articles you will know that as the author pointed out even that figure may be inflated, as low as it is. These are my friends educated people. Rhetorically are they that incompetent or is there something else at work? Yet there is no reason to expect any leader currently on the scene to have the leadership to do this. It will take a powerful person. In that I rest because I do believe there is one out there that will bring this about. Certainly those who watch the big name TV news shows, who are just now asking the same questions and reporting the news that was news before they knew it was news, can’t provide a leader of name. No the fact is in my opinion they are just like those they report on, so how can they? Let them all get down and dirty where the little guy is and maybe then their light bulb will go on? I end this article with that. Robert T. Melaccio Sr. 2008 Copyright ©2008 Robert Melaccio This Blog Post has been read 186 times. Leave a Public Comment or Question: Cut and bail what does this mean for average people? Cinco DeMayo, I want my citizenship and cheap labor. Fed changes on credit cards a band-aid. Does anything really change? We live in a Five Star World, yea, right. Can everything you own be worth half? What can anyone call it? |
