Why Great Things Are Happening.By TheOptimist(4,576) I truly believe that all the great things that have been happening in my life are a direct result of my "habit of action". I have spoke of this a before, but I feel that it is important enough to touch upon again. The following is taken from Napoleon Hill's "Laws of Success": "Today I will do everything that should be done, when it should be done, and as it should be done. I will perform the most difficult task first because this will destroy the habit of procrastination, and develop the habit of action in it's place." I used to say this phrase twelve times each day in the morning, however I have since started to say it consistently throughout the day. Now, when I am listening to my favorite radio show, I will turn down the volume when the commercials start and repeat this statement over and over until the program returns. When I am driving I make a point to repeat the phrase, as well as when I wake up and go to sleep. I also repeat it when I know that I need to do something and I may need some motivation...Some days I may repeat the phrase hundreds of times! Repeating this phrase may feel like you are brainwashing yourself...And in a way that is exactly what you are doing! You are reprogramming yourself to act. When you see something that needs to be done, you do it! If you need to make a decision, spend only as much time is necessary to make the best choice you can, then move on. When you have the habit of action you will be amazed at how much you can accomplish and you can't help but move towards reaching your goals. If anyone has any comments on this subject I would love to hear them. Stay optimistic! This Blog Post has been read 2 times.
