Blog LimitationsBy beanerywriters(11,675) Greetings, BW There are limitations on our blog. I don't know if 'tis so on other blog sites, but would like to find one with more expansive use. Only the last five notes show up on the opening page, which is OK. But only five notes show up on the other pages, also. And if you go into the page to add categories, and type in "All notes," there are only maybe 15 of the last notes that show up. The others are there but can only be accessed by deleting some of the listed ones. I'd hoped this could be a continuous writing site, but the chains are limited. I suggest you all keep a copy of what you posted for the record. I will also try to keep running copies, which will be difficult while I travel. But you are all doing a great job! Isn't it fun to experiment? I'll be off by tomorrow morning. Look for me to post notes in the category "Carolyn Travels" See you for our October 27 meeting! Carolyn

The vacation time includes Sept. 22 and Oct. 13. This is necessary because our members are quite active with travel activities. Carolyn will be in New England doing research for her historic romance novel and her family genealogy. Deb and Ed will be in Germany. Others are traveling elsewhere or have other engagements. I hope we keep in touch via this blog and E-mail. Submit brief writings on your travels or other adventures during this time. I'll plan on doing that during my three weeks on home soil. Keep writing and posting short ditties on our blog. Meetings will resume Oct. 27 at 1 pm to 3 pm. Hope to see you all then! Include information on your writing, eg. genre, whether you've been published, and a short personal note, You can do this by emailing me at cchcreations@yahoo.com. An assignment: Complete the following five minute prompt: "The time is now..." Please use ONLY five minutes---it should be short. Next, edit your piece to an acceptable degree and Email me a copy. I will put it on the blog for others to comment on. It shouldn't be something you will direct to publication, since it will be on the Internet. We had an instructional lesson on how to use the blog at our Sept. 9 meeting, which was held at my house so we could access the Internet. I know it challenged everyone, but you met the challenge with grace. Watch for updates on the next meeting.
