Fund Raising CommitteeBy dougsevert(53) I have three other committee/subcommittee needs. I need someone for communications and logistics now and I will need someone for conservation soon. I want to talk to Doug and Bonnie and get their input before I ask anyone to be a part of the fund raiser committee. The Conservation person has to be located in or near Fifield.
If you have any thoughts or candidates let me know. What do you want the conservation person to do? Vince

His address and email are on the general alumni list generated by Doug. He’s a pro in this area. This should save us considerable money re: fund raising brochure. Doug will be doing a press release to the PFHerald soon. Not clear what you mean by communication other than that. Also, what’s your need for logistics? Comment by dougsevert(53) A-OK on Tom La Tourneau. I will get in touch with him Soon. This is a good move as Doug has enough on his plate with the Web site, a full time job, and getting all the names together for the class rosters. On Communications: I am speaking those I feel are necessary for the Fund Raiser. Bonnie has been writing articles in the Herald for a long time and should continue. Doug has plenty to do with keeping the WEB site up to date. I feel I can help the most by working with Bonnie on NEWS articles to the Herald and the Bee. Starting with a summary of our meetings on last Friday and Saturday, and the dinner Saturday night we should: 1st present to the Fifield town board, the Historical society, and FCAP. With their agreement and understanding we then submit articles to the Herald and Bee. Both the articles and the presentations should include all the information on our Fund raising plan as soon as I can get it understood and approved by our committee. After all of that we should send our first "information" letter to all those we want to reach out to that we have addresses for. Of course all presentations, articles, and letters need to be approved by the Co-chairs and perhaps info to the rest of our committee. After the first round I feel Bonnie and I can do all the newspaper update we as a committee feel are necesary and an email update sent each time to the Fifield committees. This would represent our Official and Public communications. If you, Ron and Doug agree with me I already have a computor, modem, and fax printer available to give to Bonnie so she can go online with us and she and I can go back and forth with email or Fax. I did talk with Bonnie and she has agreed to this plan.. Warren Comment by dougsevert(53) This is an excellent idea to get Bonnie on-line. Besides the equipment I assume she or maybe her mother already has a computer and all of your stuff will fit in it. Also I wonder if she knows that she will have to obtain an Internet Service Provided. I'm sure you've worked all of these things out, but it certainly will help to have everyone connected. I will be more than happy to relinquish the newspaper duties to Warren and Bonnie. I have a pretty full plate already. Doug Comment by dougsevert(53) This matter has been taken care of. I've obtained the letterhead that Irene designed and sent out to all committee members by seperate message along with several others. Comment by dougsevert(53) Who is taking the next step with Irene/Bonnie's logo/slogan and turning it into stationary? Doug? Warren? Comment by dougsevert(53) I will take care of that today, or at least get started on it. I need to contact Irene because she told me her neice had it on the computer and hopefully that person can email it to me/us. Will advise. Comment by dougsevert(53) What's the latest on the stationary/letterhead? We need to start moving toward finding out printing costs.
