GenesisBy Turek(16) Welcome! The Integral Iconoclast is a place to share ideas about things that matter. From current events to historical analysis, from religion to science and technology, we will explore the issues that shape the evolution of our world. Integral refers to my desire to recognize and respect all truth, no matter what its source, and to integrate as many perspectives as possible into a single, unifying narrative. Iconoclast refers to my desire to search for that truth at all costs, no matter how complex or shocking it may be to a culture dominated by sound bites and political correctness. Since the Integral Iconoclast is meant to be a forum for dialogue, readers’ comments and insights are essential. No matter what your political or philosophical persuasion, your point of view is welcome here. The only condition for posting is that you respect the ideas of others by giving them the best possible interpretation, and refrain from any nasty tirades or ad hominem attacks. The Integral Iconoclast will probably not end poverty or find a cure for AIDS. Yet we do have the potential to create a community that promotes authentic dialogue and understanding, and that, my friends, is in short supply in our world today.
