Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude

By TheOptimist(4,576)

I have just finished the book "Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude." The book is a calaboration between Napoleon Hill and W. Clement Stone.

The book is about shifing the way that you see the world, and becoming aware of advantages and opportunities that you have. It looks at the success stories of many amazing individuals, and points out things that they did right to have a positive attitude. It also tells you the "how", which you can use to get and stay in a positive mindstate so that you can progress and reach for your goals.

I have read several Hill books in the past and have always enjoyed them. The amount of motivation that you can get from him is amazing, and he lays out the laws of success so clearly for you that you can see it-The fact that you can do or have whatever you want in live if you are willing to put in the effort to get it.

I would definitely recommend this book to any success-minded person out there. In fact, I would recommend all of Hill's books. I like to pick up one right after the other so that I don't lose my motivation.

Stay positive, and stay optimistic!

A great follow-up book to this would be "The Magic of Thinking Big" by David Schwartz. This book was given to me by a great friend. I didn't read it at first because who has time to read this stuff, but much later when it seemed as though the stress I was facing had become unbearable, the time commitment was overshadowed by the chance that it would help. It turned out to be one of those things you look back on and realize that the decision to pick up the book and make the commitment completely change your state of mind and continues to pay dividends still today. It helped me to recognize the stress I was facing at the time was a reaction to things in my life that were entirely controllable and that if I made the conscious decision to face those things the level stress I was facing could be managed. To make a long story short….Great book, Great concepts & Great Outcome!

Hi Josh, thank you for your comment. I will try to find a copy of "The Magic of Thinking Big" and give it a read. It sounds very interesting and I am always looking for positive books to help me stay motivated!

Certainly the messages are right for this day and age. Perhaps you have one for the person who has tried this approach and been kicked down time after time after time by fellow humans and has reached the point where there self worth and esteem is gone. Theya re literally crushed. Need a doctor, yes the rest of us who allow this, certainly, The the first reply of an evil world. Yes, compassion, mercy, love should never allow this to happen. By the way, I suspect you knew Mother Teresa also had bouts with doubt? Yes, she tried every single day to do who and what she said she was, but she suffered. Keep up the good work the world is full of despair and no hope.
